Melinda Summers
Office Coordinator
I was raised in Salt Lake City, UT. I moved to the valley in 2018. I currently live with a roommate and some kittens. I love to hike, fish and camp. I started with Dr. Roth in January 2023. I love working with patients and our amazing team!
Joy Hine
Dental Assistant
A native of Arizona, Joy moved to Idaho in 1991 and to the Wood River Valley in 1996, where she raised her two sons.
She began her dental assisting career with Dr. Luke Whalen in August of 1997 and continued with his practice until his retirement in March of 2023.
In her spare time Joy likes to be left alone. [just kidding Dr Roth] [I mean I’m not really kidding but you don’t have to put that] In her spare time Joy likes to read, watch movies, and garden.
Karen Barnes
Hygienist
Karen Barnes is a compassionate hygienist who brings over 15 years of experience in the field. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve a happy, healthy smile through personalized care and oral health education. Outside of the office, Karen enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, or spending time with her family and three dogs.
Maria Bistowski
Mari is new to Idaho. She left the behind the beach and sunny California weather to enjoy the picturesque mountains of Sun Valley. With 29 years of dental experience, she will be handling all your front office needs from making appointments to answering all financial need and everything in-between. During her free time Mari enjoys traveling and spending time with her Great Dane Nola.
Jen Loeffler
Dental Assistant
Jenn is new to Idaho also originally hailing from New Jersey. Her accent is definitely different but her happy smile can warm even the coldest of hearts. Jenn started out in dentistry as a sterilizationist while in high school. After she graduated she continued to pursue her career in dentistry becoming a dental assistant. Her love of dentistry and knowledge ultimately sent her back to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. In 2010 she graduated top of her class from Rowan University in New Jersey. As a child she was and still is a huge dentalphobe. Her personality keeps the most apprehensive patient relaxed and her antidotal stories keep the patients distracted while she cleans their teeth. When Jenn's not practicing dentistry she spends time taking photos of nature, kids and pets. She has 2 teen daughters Amelia and Natalia who keep her on her toes, and 2 Brussel Griffon pups that you might see her out walking in their wee little coats.
